Incheon Inter City aka Gajeong Lu 1 City in Incheon, South Korea - by developers Incheon Urban Development Corporation (IUDC), Incheon Metropolitan City, and Korean National Housing Corporation (KNHC) - at a cost of US$ 12.8 billion - will comprise a commercial & residential developments featuring two signature towers, highest will stand 350 meters tall (1149 ft./ 77 floors), and both towers will house themed restaurants, hotel & serviced apartments, business offices, underground plaza, Cinema Multiplex, venues, exhibition, and cultural facilities.

The center of the city will house a big park with a three-dimensional landmark transportation hub that will cover a segment of the Expressway, the city Railway Line (including both the trains and the monorail), bus route express, an underground plaza & pedestrian networks, and the transit/parking facilities.

The project team includes a consortium of Architects & Engineers: Samwoo Architects and Engineers (Korea), Heerim Architects & Planners (Korea), Mu-Young Architects (Korea), and Nitken Architects (Japan). Construction will commence in April 2009 and completion is scheduled for 2014 for the opening of Asian Games - Incheon 2014. The render below is from the old proposal that was rejected.
