Excellent article by Jonathan Rauch in The Atlantic Monthly. I've been wondering why "conservatives" don't believe McCain is conservative. Has the definition changed? I know L'il Bush isn't a conservative, but I didn't realize the whole movement has apparently been redefined.

A great movie that challenges those of faith to ask themselves can they really love their fellow man even if that fellow man is a total wretch? I know the movie is 4 years old, but I don't go to the theaters much (2 small children). If you like Johnny Depp, he shines in this movie.

Our children have yet to learn the things that we adults use to make the world a worse place: hate, intolerance, prejudice, etc. Perhaps if we were a little more child-like and a lot less childish, we could make the world better for all of us.
