There's a story about how this photoblog is meaningful to me. I met my boyfriend through an online game, Ultima Online. In that game, you can own your own house. Not long after we fell in love (2001), I had a dream one night that I was standing in that house. In the entrance of the main room a spiral staircase had been built. I began questioning in my mind why it was there. Jesus was there and I asked, "But how do I climb it?" He said to just stand in it and it would transport me. When I stood at the foot of the stairs, a blinding white light filled the room and I wondered, before I left my conscious thoughts, if my boyfriend would climb the spiral with me.
About 1.5 years later, I traveled to Germany, his home country, to meet his family. We toured castles and places. In several there were spiral staircases. When we got to the Dom (Dome) in Cologne, you could climb a spiral 500 feet up. We climbed that spiral together. The height was almost dizzying.
And now we have gone through some real challenges with distance in our relationship and I have questioned if it's the right thing just this morning. So I stumbled upon this link and thought, it's telling me in spades that it is.
