BEWARE THE AGENT-PROVOCATEURS: A Review by ts-looney: My reply afterward... ts-looney rated 7 minutes ago "Based on the number of thumbs up and the time stamps on her blog, I have serious doubts that this person actually reads the articles they stumble upon, but gives them all a thumbs up anyways. Also, for someone as anti-bush as she seems I found a lot of articles linked back to FoxNews: the Republican Propaganda Arm. Not my cup of tea." To ts-looney From: SleepingFox "Some of us are able to read fast even without a box of crayons." And as regards to the link backs to Fox and other "conservative" sites so-called: I get my information from a wide variety of news sources. Know your enemy means knowing what your enemy is thinking. Patton after defeating Rommel's famed Afrika Corps was rumored to have remarked, "Rommel? You bastard! I read your book." In college our profs required us to read Mein Kampf and Marx's screeds. That did not make me and my fellows either Nazis or Marxists. But in ts-looney's struggle to understand the fruits of a Liberal Arts education, reading the enemy makes you an enemy. There are any number of Americans who labor under such handicaps. That is why Americans are at times the butt of so many jokes by Europeans; who are much more cosmopolitan in every aspect of life. In addition: I also stumble and post articles from Socialist sites and I am not a Socialist. Obviously, ts-looney has difficulty in wrapping his mind around that. I wonder precisely at Mr "looney's" level of education per these issues, if he is confining himself soley to one viewpoint and one reporting outlet. And obviously, looney has not read my profile where I state that one must make up his/her own mind. This is an aborted process if that man or woman does not have a broad range of research into every aspect of a particular issue. At best, such a "provincial" approach to commentary and review has a limiting, stilting effect on one's worldview. Looney is not to be faulted in this. Many Americans are encumbered with this same affliction. But he does too need to expand his horizons beyond Oklahoma and then step to the plate in an attempt to knock one out of the ballpark of opinion.
