Clergy types are just insurance salesmen in funny clothes and they, not gods, wrote the Koran and the Bible. These "holy" books have created oceans of bloodshed. I prefer skepticism, reason,evidence rather than hearsay emotionalism.

    I think we can safely say there never was anyone who in those times went by the name of Jesus Christ. Christos is Greek for those slaves in the public baths anointed with olive oil and scrapped the oil and dirt off the nude bodies of their masters.

    The fact that anyone can check that the gospel of John Chapter 20 makes a lier out of the gospel of Matthew Chapter 28 on just about every point of the Easter tale. This should be enough to wake up any Zombie. But no I fear the clergy have eaten their brains and now do all their thinking for them. The gullible are so trusting.
    Let the sheep herding clergy preach about Judas. Let them explain how he could die two ways:
    Judas died from a fall and Judas bought the field (Acts 1:18)
    or
    Judas hung himself and the chief priest bought the field. (Matt 27:5,7)
    Behold bullshit exposed, now do not swallow it again.
    They will probably make up their own gospel now in which Judas hangs himself over a cliff and the rope breaks. Dogma is make believe and some people will kill for their invisible friend. Their sickness is called Monotheism. You can see lots of these sick ones in nuthouses with steeples or minarets.

    One should never forget that it was Christianity that burned the Great Library of Alexandra and closed the schools. The cross was and is a glorification of suffering (masochism) and so there was no need for education, or public baths. The only way to keep clean for the population was taken away and hospitals were closed by religions. To take baths was sinful.

    What hospitals have atheists built? What hospitals and scientific medical advances could have been built in these thousand years of the Dark Ages when religions ruled?
    How many non-believers in clergy bullshit were slowly burned at the stake over these centuries? The very same rational people who could have build hospitals not to brown nose into heaven, but for compassion and pursuit of the common good.
    How many non-believers (non-zombies) lie low today to preserve their jobs and lives? Atheists are not organized like theists. There are a few organizations and a few meet ups, but for the majority there is little need to gather. Wingnuts need a weekly brainwashing with eyes closed and clergy practicing group hypnosis on them (prayer). "Atheists are like herding cats." We have little in common usually except we find no evidence to support that there is a SkyDaddySanta. BTW In the 90's I was corporate secretary of Atheist United. It would be hard to imagine wingnuts that did not gather around flagpoles for hypnosis. Atheists prefer to listen to lectures usually on Secular Humanist subjects.
    Atheists do not build hospitals? How would anyone know? Atheists or in other words those (without a belief in gods) build hospitals and start foundations for medical research for reasons other than pleasing their Imaginary friends.
    It was religion that fought against pain killers, for god wants women to suffer in childbirth. How many hospitals have Atheists built in the non-religious Scandinavian countries? These are countries were the entire population has health care, a safety net and very few prisons.
    The more Christians the more prisons needed and the US has more locked up than the rest of the world combined.

    In the US 4 percent own 80 percent of the wealth and the other 20 percent is owned by the church corporations. Tax that 20 percent and build secular (Atheist) hospitals and have national health care without the insurance wolves involved.
    How many hospitals have Atheists built? Quite a few around the world and here in the US. Atheists have no need for emotional contradictory dogmas nor do we expect any god to heal us. Therefore, this world is all we've got and we more than the wingnuts have built the hospitals in places where will can. And where we can build we find no need to call it an Atheist Hospital. One wonders what believers need hospitals for? Do they not want to go to be with their Imaginary Friend ASAP?
    How many hospitals have Atheists built?
    answer is ALL of them for they all receive public grants which comes from everyone's taxes.

    When believers cannot answer the self-contradictions of their 'Holy' book then they attack the messenger. After a lifetime of suffering this behavior most Atheists have a very low opinion of the intelligence of believers. Because we are tired of turning the other cheek we tend to call them stupid or worse. Now all Atheists are said to be angry people. I wonder why with only kind and loving Christians around. Sarcasm.
    Rep. Monique Davis runs on emotion and cannot be reasoned with. However, she does know that she went too far. Quite often we all go too far. We all make mistakes. IMO her apology to Rob Sherman shows we all can learn to get along and work for human progress and the common good.

    I wish I was a 'huge prick as mentioned below.' However, I would settle for a prick enlargement.

    Who produces the scientific progress humanity needs?
    Those who are skeptical and demand evidence. Monotheism historically retarded human progress by burning the Great Library of Alexandra and for centuries burned alive millions of people. Religions produce retards, crazies and zombies and haters of change. Progress comes from skeptics who doubt their dogmas.
    Science is based on reason and evidence, while religions are based on emotion, fear, guilt and imaginary friends. Religions want to leave this world as quickly as possible for they are focused on death. They can overpopulate and trash the planet for their Skydaddy will come and make everything right. Atheists have no need of a brainwashing dogma spouting clergy who use myth as history and only parrot dogma. Closed eyes and praying is hypnosis.
