(The Pope lives on Vatican Hill by the way.) Wingnut get your story straight before you knock on my door. Was the tomb door closed (Matt 28:2) or open (John 20:1) when Mary Magdalene first got there? Clergy types are just insurance salesmen in funny clothes and they, not gods, wrote the Koran and the Bible. These "holy" books have created oceans of bloodshed. I prefer skepticism, reason,evidence rather than hearsay emotionalism.

There are about as many non-believers as there are Blacks (14%), but they are not organized into political money grubbing, child indoctrinating organizations.
The real fear is that believers in the Natural will be murdered by the believers in the Supernatural.
The Atheists in the military tend to be murdered (Pat Tillman) or forced out. Those who want a Christian theocracy (think Iran) are well organized and have a huge control now. Plus the Christian Blackwater crowd leaves the Constitution in jeopardy.
Remember that Rome lost it's Republic due to a military take over.

You cannot count on your hands how many times Christians have been dishonest and made shit up about Atheists running to Skydaddy when they were on their death beds. Same crap as "there are no Atheists in foxholes" which is easily refuted by the death of Pat Tillman and many others. Wars are usually wars of religion and Monotheism has caused an ocean of blood to be shed over the dumbest made up shit. Atheists do not burn people alive or fly into building expecting to be given 72 virgins or palaces in the sky. Muslims believe that Mohamed flew up to heaven from within Jerusalem on a horse while Christians have to make do with Jesus making it to heaven without a horse and outside the walls of Jerusalem. Jews are certain that Skydaddy prefers them and has give them license to steal the land of others several times now. Funny how gods are so like the monkeys that made them up. 80 Million Hindus kiss Shivia's stone dick, do you believe there is a god called Shiva who wants his dick kissed? :)
If not, then I guess you are an Atheist on this god at least.
Now you can start to question the remaining clergy created bullshit myths. Mythology is what we call other peoples religions. A dead religion is called a myth. All religions die.

Religions are not content to own your mind and tell you what to think, but also must own your ass as well.
Christians love suffering in their god and others. If the god suffered then so must you. Once they fought against pain killers now they fight to make people linger in pain for years. How far are we from the time when Christians wore hair shirts and beat themselves with chain whips?
Where is Christian compassion? You would not put your dog through what so many people suffer due to clergy manufactured dogmas.
Free people are not slaves to witchdoctor bishops. Combining religion and government makes this world a hell.
