(The Pope lives on Vatican Hill by the way.) Wingnut get your story straight before you knock on my door. Was the tomb door closed (Matt 28:2) or open (John 20:1) when Mary Magdalene first got there? Clergy types are just insurance salesmen in funny clothes and they, not gods, wrote the Koran and the Bible. These "holy" books have created oceans of bloodshed. I prefer skepticism, reason,evidence rather than hearsay emotionalism.

I think the true facts are that Santa Claus has used his huge toy bag to crush the child's Imaginary friend Jesus.
The Pope made the western church celebrate this god's birthday by taking the Roman Saturnalia holiday and making it Jesus birthday. The Eastern Church which still follows the original creed still celebrates on January 6th on Epiphany.
Google "Saturnalia" if you want to know the reason for the season.

Acceptable evidence is not based on hearsay and old 'Holy" books that are more hearsay and myth are not acceptable evidence either.
This Rapture article is a perfect example of the make-shit-up sickness otherwise known as dogma do-do.
I see the arch-angel Satan mentioned. First it is agreed that the god is all knowing, all good etc. This god created everything including Satan and gave it "freewill". Knowing ahead of time (omniscient god) how fucked it all would become and that he would "start a war in heaven" etc. Now we must ask ourselves, how can anyone believe that any being who knows the outcome of anything need to test the objects of his own creation. He knows what the test will be before hand. Still the sheeple are given the sheep and the goats, the saved and the damned guilt trip clergy made up bullshit?
Why would an all good god creates babies knowing that he will torture this one forever? This is not a good god, but some kind of monster angry desert skydaddy god. In otherwords it is clergy manufactured bullshit used to make money, and a class control device to keep the overly trusting (gullible) under control. If anyone leaves the planet by floating up they will freeze and strangle, and they would not be laughing at those suffering and left behind.
