By all means send them if you think we should be friends. However, at least send me a courtesy 'hello' when you do. I am not asking much. I would just like to know that you are a human being and not just some friend-all bot. If you just send me a friend request out of the blue without any interaction whatsoever, you might as well not bother. I will decline it.

It was funny the first time I read it, which was a very long time ago and not on Cracked. It didn't have anything to do with April fool's then either. Sure, it is still funny but surely there is more content to go around on the whole wide internet than for me to see the same shit over and over and over again ad nauseam.
