The only conformity in the human spirit should be hope and the unification in celebration of differences.
I am a passionate apathetic and I am a spiritual atheist. I am a devout heretic. Various bodyparts of mine frequently correspond with one another by shipping anthrax. If the Rapture should happen tomorrow I would be the first to lasso the feet of ascending believers so I could sell them as environmentally friendly balloon-animals. I do not respect your opinions even if you agree with me. We might as well face the fact that you are most likely less intelligent than I am. You might call this arrogance, I call it realism. True arrogance would only occur if I ceased expecting the same standards of you as I do of myself. I am a living oxymoron because I do not care for your labels. I am Sketch Sepahi. Remember it. There will be a surprise exam. There is also a distinct possibility that you should not take everything I say seriously - including this.

By all means send them if you think we should be friends. However, at least send me a courtesy 'hello' when you do. I am not asking much. I would just like to know that you are a human being and not just some friend-all bot. If you just send me a friend request out of the blue without any interaction whatsoever, you might as well not bother. I will decline it.

As I wrote in my little rant about Faroese fundamentalism called Open Brain-Surgery:

"Jenis av Rana, who recently published an open letter about the lack of tolerance for Christians and the suffering they have to endure because of prejudiced atheists, is best known for consequently referring to homosexuals as Satan's Ill Weeds and `sex-confused', a term that has become an epithet in the Faroese language equalling that of calling black persons the N-word. (How dare the people we are prejudiced against prejudice against us!)"

This is a great little cartoon demonstrating just how ridiculous that sentiment is. Here is another one.
