It is not wisdom if we simply believe what we are told. True wisdom is to directly see and understand for ourselves.

All hail the queen of prose and poetry. If words could be eaten literally, her pen would be like my crack cocaine. Of course that doesnt' make sense. I'm not a writer silly! but SHE is, and will make you fall in love with words and stuff and sometimes make you want to stab things with a pen (hey, everything has a side effect if you consume it too immodestly.)
From the page: "Heather Bell has been writing for a long time.
She eats mountain lions and kills baby seals.
She has been previously published, numerous times, under her maiden name of "Schimel" so you also might find some good stuff there. But don't judge her based upon the incriminating photographs with genocidal dictators. We all start somewhere."

Over 1 billion tons of pesticides are used on crops in the United States every year, however less than 1% actually reaches the targeted organism. The remainder contaminates our air, soil, and water in addition to other plants and animals.
Pesticides are lipid (fat) soluble and accumulate in our fatty tissues; hence they are a danger to human health. Many of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, immune system suppression, birth defects, damage to the nervous system, and disruption of hormones. Concentration of these chemicals increases at each step of our food chain.
According to a report from the Pesticide Action Network of North America, U.S. consumers may experience up to 70 exposures daily to residues on food from persistent organic pollutants (POPs). Testing by the U.S. Department of Agriculture reveals that, even after washing, some fruits and vegetables consistently carry much higher levels of pesticide residue than others.
Pesticide exposure may be reduced up to 90% by avoiding the most contaminated fruits and vegetables.

From the page: "My name is Nick and I am the Peanut Butter Boy. I love any and all things peanut butter but my real passion is cooking and eating healthy. My goal is to make nutritious food taste good and I seem to have a knack for it."
Some really intriguing recipes here that had my imagination going! It's nice that someone has actually tried the recipes that I have only thought about, but hadn't yet executed because of the inkling they might be disgusting. This blog allows me to see feedback of his recipes and has some really nice tips such as greek yoghurt and white nectarines for one to create a healthful and creamy consistency in some dishes.
