**To date, there is no medicine that prevents hepatitis C however there is medicine for Hepatitis B, however if a patient is infected already, that patient will do Interferon treatment. The medicine referenced is a preventative pre-facto, not post-facto.

So who am I to give this horseshit any of my mouth? I studied Hepatitis C for two years with one year in a personal 1 yr. study of combination Rebetol and Interferon referred to as Old Combo. And I promise, no one wants to do this medicine although duly warranted. Know yourself real well (healthwise and genetically)before taking any of it.

It's not only ugly, it's double ugly. It was similar to having an extreme case of the flu 24/7/365 and that's not the half of it but I'll spare you the details. I got out lucky in that I have a sustained viral response but not everyone is as lucky as I am. I only treated for a year. I know others who have treated for more than 7 yrs before they slapped the virus down. Plus that, many of us now have other medical issues that are directly linked to the treatment that medicine doesn't write about in its medical journals.

A word of warning:  If you should ever have to do treatment for any hepatitis, refuse to treat with Pegylated IFN.

Prosecutors say jurors Thursday recommended death for 46-year-old Billy Joe Johnson in Superior Court in Santa Ana.

Johnson was convicted earlier this month in the murder of Scott Miller. Prosecutors say Johnson took Miller to an alley where two other men shot him for divulging gang secrets during a Fox TV interview.

Johnson is serving a 45-year-to-life sentence for a 2004 gang-related murder. He told jurors he killed two other people to try to convince them he deserved the death penalty.
