I'm politically incorrect, morally absent, ethically a pariah, socially an animal, emotionally damaged, sexually absent, idealogically contemptuous, theologically damned, intellectually complicated and kind-natured to a fault.

Chemical and fossil evidence of ancient microbial life on Mars was carried to Earth in a Martian meteorite and it is being elevated to a higher plane by the same NASA team which made the initial discovery 13 years ago.

Now, 13 years after the Martian meteorite life story emerged, the science team finally feels vindicated. Data shows teh meteorite is no smoking gun however it is full of vidence that supports the existence of life on the surface of Mars, or in subsurface water pools, early in the planet's history.

Be sure to follow the link to see the image. The size is too large to post it here. It's massive, its explosive, and its humbling to watch.

From the page: "November 24, 2009: Sometimes you really can believe your eyes. That's what NASA's STEREO (Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory) spacecraft are telling researchers about a controversial phenomenon on the sun known as the "solar tsunami."

Years ago, when solar physicists first witnessed a towering wave of hot plasma racing along the sun's surface, they doubted their senses. The scale of the thing was staggering. It rose up higher than Earth itself and rippled out from a central point in a circular pattern millions of kilometers in circumference. Skeptical observers suggested it might be a shadow of some kinda trick of the eye but surely not a real wave.

"Now we know," says Joe Gurman of the Solar Physics Lab at the Goddard Space Flight Center. "Solar tsunamis are real."

    Listen up, Girlfriends.

[T]he presence of so-called 'n-3 fatty acids' in flaxseed oil may play a role in protecting the processes of matrix formation and bone mineralization, which are apparently compromised by diabetes and menopause.

    Osteoporosis is no laughing matter.

Any U.S. veteran who received shots with an airgun should get tested for HCV. More than likey, the veteran will not realize that s/he has the virus especially since it takes a minimum of 30 yrs for the virus to rear its ugly little head. It took me 33 yrs of intubation before I underwent treatment. It was a bitch, however, it is now in remission.

From the page: "An estimated 5.4 million Americans are infected with either chronic hepatitis B or chronic hepatitis C infection. Most individuals are not aware they are infected and unable to take advantage of promising treatments. According to the respected research firm Milliman, the cost of chronic hepatitis C virus infection alone could reach $85 billion annually by 2024. Medicare and Medicaid are projected to absorb a disproportionate share of those costs."

In lieu of SU's newest newlyweds. There are two key  predictors of a resilient relationship: mutual support and a willingness to sacrifice. That's one down. The rest is easy peazy.

From the page: "Surviving the gauntlet of misfortune early in a relationship can be a valuable litmus test, say counselors. A relationship crisis "smashes the illusion of invulnerability," says William Doherty, a psychologist and marriage researcher who runs the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the University of Minnesota. That illusion, he says, "was going to go away anyway, and I don't think there's any great loss to it going away sooner than later."
