These shortening, waning days of Autumn make me restless and anxious so I find myself reacting by collecting acorns and wild walnuts and stockpiling them to last me the winter. Nuts. I have a nice little store of nuts, it makes me feel secure. Warm and happy and secure to have stash of nuts for the winter. Nuts. I want to share this feeling. Short Women In The News


Here is a woman described on her arrest record as being 5 feet tall who is accused of being a serial bank robber in my area. The interesting thing is that although she is married the robber never was seen with an accomplice and her husband isn't being charged or under suspicion of participating in the bank robberies. So it is quite possible her husband didn't even know she was robbing banks!. "Bye honey, going out to do some errands, watch the kids for me." "okay dear"."


This short woman has been all over the news. The hero of the Fort Hood Tragedy was not a big burly soldier man but a short woman. She is described as being "very petite" yes it was her who finally brought down the killer, despite being shot three times by him! United States and Canadian Military still doesn't assign front line military duty to females in war zones. Time to reassess those policies I say. Kimberly Munley isn't an aberration, there are plenty of women who would do their country proud on the battlefield.

Am I uncool if I can't tell the difference between mass-market consumerism and pop culture? Am I elitist if I don't think dressing up as corporate copyrighted mass-market characters counts as "counterculture"? How does something qualify as pop culture and counterculture at the same time?� Don't get me wrong, I don't think I am better than any of these people, I might have even more questionable taste myself.� I am just whining about calling things what they really are. It is great for the economy here though. The hotel taxes are desperately needed to kept the city and its school district fiscally solvent so please keep it up people.
