Welcome to my little corner of stumbleupon. I hope you find some interesting stuff among my stumbles.

I prefer sites (and stumblers) that take on contentious issues -- politics, religion, philosophy, etc. -- but do so in polite and civil ways.

There's too much negativity in the world, and the anonymous nature of the web too often seems to amplify that.

Many, I suspect, imagine themselves free thinkers simply because someone told them they are so. Consequently, I like writers who get us looking a second time at issues or events we thought we knew.

I hope you enjoy these sites and reviews. And, even if you disagree with the ideas, I hope they're of interest nonetheless.
