Interesting scenario. A white kid is beaten mercilessly by two black kids. Rev B.T. Rice of the St.Louis NAACP blames a growing resentment in the country to a black president. Conservative blogger Dana Loesch simply points out that St. Louis has a problem with how they deal with racial issues and political correctness. That's pretty much nationwide though.
Over the last several weeks, the conservative movement in this country has been accused of racism by Democrat lawmakers, a former Democrat president, the so called mainstream media as well as a large host of leftist pundits. Is it any wonder that with such a campaign of false allegations being reported as fact that we're seeing incidents such as this one.
Martin Luther King once said that he had a dream that one day all people would be judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. Why isn't that day today? We've elected a black president, why are we not allowed to judge his character without being racist? Why are we not allowed to oppose his polices without being a racists? Personally, it wouldn't make a bit of difference to me if President Obama was blue with green and purple stripes, I would still be concerned with the direction that his agenda is taking this country.
just as an after thought, I think that it's noteworthy to point out that there were both black and white kids on this bus and only one kid had the common sense or courage to step in and do something and that kid was black. I think that the desire to make peace and the tenacity to carry it out is a very positive character trait. I wonder, had I witnessed something like that in high school, would I have had the courage to break up such an altercation?
