Roleplay Adventures is a 100 year old man from New York, USA

We are a roleplaying community which is always open to new members. Our members are good writers, and we have many interesting roleplays, some of which are still looking for players. Our community is not so disconnected that every man is an island but not so tightly-knit that newcomers will feel like they don't belong. We also have sections for other activities, like chat, member art and current news, and we hold contests with nice prizes every now and then. Come join Roleplay Adventures! Which adventure will you bring?

Roleplaying is a hobby and fond past-time for many. An activity often delved into for the sake of entertainment and enjoyment through the sharing of one's creativity and the endlessness of their imagination. At Roleplay Adventures, we encourage such interactive creativity and seek to exercise one's imagination, to allow them to have a momentary escape from the stresses of reality, and enjoy a common interest among other friendly members and fellow roleplayers.

C/G aka Clans and Guilds is a forum where all roleplays are interconnected, like a large, complex plot. Sounds confusing? Don't worry, it's not. Clans, which are groups set up by members that may vary from weapon engineering companies to mercenaries, interact with each other in threads to accomplish their goals. They might set up alliances or become enemies. Conflict and action are a constant in C/G. The setting itself is that of our present 2008, but this doesn't mean we can't have futuristic and fantasy characters. The sky's the limit in C/G. role-player.net/topic/7084694/1/ [role-player.net/topic/7084694/1/]

With the realms of our Roleplay Forums, we offer a place for a variety of settings and campaigns based upon one's personal tastes and preferences. There is a place for everyone; from those who enjoy a more traditional adventure in a land of dragons and magic, to those who wish to travel the endless black of space in an unwritten future with unique technologies and alien races. If one bears a wish to explore a pre-existing setting from various sources such as books, film and television, anime and video games, we have a home for those as well. There is no single style nor setting within RPA that is set apart from the rest, as it is known that every genre has its unique quirks that can make them most enjoyable. And if someone seems to have a difficult time finding members, our site staff will help with advertising, ensuring that no one misses the opportunity to take part in the forum's newest adventure. For those seeking a more competitive experience, our Battle Arena and Clans and Guilds will be for you.

A long, long time ago, in a far, far away kingdom - well, it wasn't really that long ago, to be honest, and the kingdom wasn't very far away either -, a creation sprang to life. This creation, also known as `Roleplay Adventures', was an online community for role-players to thrive and prosper, each in their individual way. There were not only fairytales of magic and quests in this community, but also adventurous stories, stories about a time yet to come, and stories of epic battles. The people inhabiting Roleplay Adventures were a tight-knit group, coming Downtown often to talk to each other about their experiences, their favorites, their recipes, and more of that. Newcomers were immediately received with a kind heart and a few words of encouragement, and shown the way by volunteers aplenty. No matter how bad their spelling was, they were cheered on to learn and grow in their role-playing. Roleplay adventures was a community for young and old, experienced and inexperienced, to meet each other on equal grounds and to learn from all.

Roleplay Adventures' strength as a role-playing site lays in many things, such as the kindness everyone shows to new members, no matter what their background. Everyone is given a chance and guided in their first few steps on the site - if not their first few steps into roleplay.
It has a multitude of roleplays to join, from fantasy to science fiction, and even the more lighthearted topics such as parody and fan-fiction. Aside from that, there's place to show your art, your stories, to talk about music and movies, to just talk in general and to have fun.
Fun is another one of those keywords for RPA, it's all about the fun everyone here has in role-playing. Here, you won't be judged if your spelling or grammar isn't correct. Here, you won't have to worry about people looking down on you if you just entered the unknown world of role-playing. Here, the community is active and won't leave you hanging in the middle of an interesting roleplay. Here on RPA, life is good and the roleplays are many!
