Robin is a 47 year old woman from Orlando, Florida, USA

I sat under the trees for several summers drawing on a huge chalkboard as a child and began fine art studies at the age of thirteen. I rode my bike where Foxwoods casino now sits near her hometown of Norwich, CT. My early exhibitions began in a seaport town at The Mystic Art Association. Acknowledged for my luminous landscapes and captivating portraits I have since become an established award winning artist; published in magazines, newspapers, documentaries, and news broadcasts. Jeffrey Spalding judged my work best of show with a "magical use of color" as Director of the Appleton Museum in Ocala Florida. I am an elected signature member of the Pastel Society of America. My art is a visual journey. Collected worldwide my works are in private and corporate collections. I am represented by several galleries in America. I work from my home studio in Longwood Florida, enjoying the company of my dog Max.

"I respond to what catches my eyes and heart, drawing and painting with colors, shapes and lines. Charcoal, pastel, graphite, colored pencil, ink, acrylic or oil paint are utilized on various papers, wood, or canvas. I capture life and simple pleasures applying rhythmic patterns and geometrics in translucent layers. I personify nature through color and movement evoking moods of transition, strength, joy and serenity. I use a symbolic visual language exploring the visible and invisible creating a commentary on relationships and thoughts. As I work the images can be unexpected flowing from gathered memories. Within the placed pigment I enhance my perceptions of faces, animals, cities or fauna to share them with the viewer. As an artist sometimes I am caught in the beauty of the moment, I stare at the world moving me to create a piece of art that is emotive and will stand through time
