i am a miyazaki fan. so you can imagine my excitement about the new film and disappointment it's with disney. shux why!? ponyo should have stayed in Studio Ghibli.
the irony is how contrary mr miyazaki personal philosophy is to this sort of profit driven venture. to quote wikipedia: "However, Miyazaki still holds some socialist ideas and is critical of capitalism, globalization and their impacts on modern life." huh?
i might wait for it to be dubbed into japanese before watching it. then again why even bother. it's a disney show after all... sad, sad day...
