Why is it that we want to get away with feeling less, when we were meant to feel so much more? I don't want to be numb to anything anymore, even to pain. Sometimes you just have to allow yourself to experience the emotion you are in. This is what makes our character diverse. This is what makes our stories memorable. We don't remember the moments in our lives in which we allowed ourselves to be numb. Experiencing emotion shows we are human, and that we are open to living and writing our own lives, not deleting certain pages.
