Of course , at odds with this lack of time is the absolute need to pray, sit quietly, and think.
The latter is productive and puts the former in perspective making life richer as a whole.
If I could be anyone I would be Enoch. However, I'm only me and that's not such a bad thing.

This is a sermon, so if you can't take that then you may want to skip this but if you can take it and care to comment then step up.

Mar 13, 12:49pm (1 review) vocal-music, music, imogen-heap http://www.twestival.fm/?p=195- For those with musical aspirations, here is a seldom offered opportunity. Imogen Heap wrote some lyrics and sang them but the song was never finished. Now she has release the tracks for the public to play with.
For those of you that love Imme, go listen to what some very creative people came up with. More that 200 variations on Imme, it's pretty cool.

Read it and weep,

The long night is over
and your stirring in the dawn
has give notice to others
wake up and let slip the night.
The horizon brightens
as God moves and sets right
and beckons your talents
as you set your sites
on the future; in the new day
you live and you strive with might
to reach the fullness promised
day engulfed by light.

- Personal Note: My niece graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in New York City this weekend. I wanted to help her celebrate the milestone. The pleasure of celebrating with my family was augmented by the pure joy of driving in NYC. I came in from the north though Connecticut. In the wonderful early summer, the green in the trees still looks fresh from spring and the light from the sun is clear and bright.
Driving into Manhattan on Henry Hudson Parkway was a blast for me. The City's architecture, the George Washington bridge, awesome sights for me to enjoy. However.... the joy... the real joy for me.... was driving in Manhattan. I love driving, so it was with a rather sick relish that I took to the streets of Manhattan with a huge smile on my face. It was everything I had hoped it would be, an aggressive driver's dream. I had such fun and I managed to not get flipped off or honked at for the days I was there.
And finally, congrats to Eleanor Roosevelt High School's class of 2007. 120 graduates in the class all headed to more than 80 different colleges. Kudos to the NYC school system, as well as the Principal and Staff at the Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Oh and a special word: Ms. Shaw you were inspiringly elegant in word and form, thanks.

I woke you as I stirred
your eyes opened and met mine
you smiled upon seeing me
and love played in your mind
Then your gentle smile eased
into a thoughtful reverie
A dozen thoughts traversed you mind
In your eyes I could see
questions in subconscious pattens
sifted through, ideas honed
While your soft expression poured out on me
deep love I've never known
