The guy makes a lot of sense - I take most reviews with a heavy dose of salt. Most of the time I read negative reviews to see if they actually make any sense (and I'm often dismayed that these people are allowed out into society).

Windows Utilities

A little out of date now - some of the utilities haven't been updated in a while, or have better alternatives. Unlocker's website keeps getting flagged as unsafe (plus I don't think it properly supports x64) - better to use LockHunter instead.
WinDirStat and Startup Delayer are brilliant utilities - add Process Explorer and that's pretty much my list of tools MS must add to Windows by default **right now**. (actually, Startup Delayer especially because then apps would have to take note of when I've delayed them rather than just adding themselves back into the main list again).
A lot of the others are things that are personal preferences, or are only useful in certain situations. For example, I personally don't like virtual desktops - I tend to forget where I put windows, or open up another browser instance because I forgot I already had one on another desktop.
Oh, and the next person to suggest that everyone converts to the Linux religion is an idiot.
