His innovative and leading-edge online volunteer work has been noted by numerous news sources from The New York Times to CTV's Canada AM, and shared with many non-profit organizations through provincial, national and international conference presentations and published articles.

In 2006 he developed "About Online Volunteering", the first podcast and blog dedicated to helping non-profit organizations learn about the benefits and potential of online volunteering.

With 13 years experience conceptualizing, designing and promoting non-profit Web sites, including the continuous pioneering and embracing of evolving technologies, such as Blogs, Wikis, VoIP, SEO, RSS syndication and Audio and Video Podcasts, along with 17 years volunteer management experience with leading and diverse not-for-profit organizations, Randy is well-positioned to communicate how non-profit organizations can take advantage of the Internet's potential.

He is a Gold Medallist graduate of both the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba.
