I am an extreme weather photographer residing in New York City of all places. Yeah I know, not exactly the meca of severe weather here in the northeast but I like it here, been here all my life and my family and friends are here. However, to capture the extreme weather events that I document I have to travel long distances to say the least.

During the spring, I travel out to the mid west in search of the most violent storms on earth. Tornadoes, lightning, hail storms, etc.....the mid west offers up all of these and more. I'll spend a few weeks on the road during May and June with my storm chase partner Dave Lewison and over the last 10 years we've both seen some amazing things! During the late summer and into the fall I also intercept and document land falling hurricanes along the east coast and gulf coast of the US. During the winter months, I stay around the New York City area and document the winter storms and nor'easters that hit our area.
