i love photos like these (especially those outdoors) because as much as you want to say that things have changed dramatically, plenty of things haven't. we have a tendency to reflect on the past through a black and white prism, and it does a tremendous disservice to our idea of history.
in my defense, i did see two of them (an education and in the loop). thought carey mulligan was great in the first (also nice soundtrack) and the british humor funny in the second. highly recommend.
