http://www.ghchealth.com/natural-health/enriched-white-flour/: Jun 10, 4:45pm (8 reviews) http://www.ghchealth.com/natural-health/...; i have to say that even though i appreciate the general message of this article, it deserves to be noted that that ferrous sulfate is not "metallic iron" as the author claims. in it's pure form, it is a nice light green salt. it does not look like something you would make into a sword in mass quantities. it is routinely used medically to treat anemia and is not toxic, unless of course you exceed the amount of iron a human can take in a day. that's the REAL issue with enriched food products. so much is made with enriched flour that it is very easy for people to consume toxic amounts of iron. especially at risk are people who are taking multivitamins in addition to their processed food.
