A page like this wouldn't normally rate a review from me, but I'm somewhat discouraged by Peirce's and some of my fellow reviewers' comments. There is nothing magical about the formula. It really does look pretty, I won't argue that at all. But the idea that it is something mystical or beyond comprehension is ludicrous. A half-hearted inquiry into why this is so would quickly reveal the answer. It is symptomatic of a growing problem that we chalk things up to mystical beauty when the real, concrete answer is right in front of our eyes.
