This all goes in line with my theories that the mainstream reports are very conservative, so at not to scare people too much. However, if the ice sheets melt as fast as they have been doing, much faster than was predicted, then the sea levels could rise to dangerous levels in less than 50 years, maybe even 10 or 20. Scary thought...

Composting is a great idea, and you are putting nutrients back into the garden. It makes perfect sense.

General Motors announces two more electric cars

A recent study by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) found that over 20% of the private wells sampled contained at least one contaminant at levels of concern for potential health issues. Most of the contaminants came from natural geological sources in the aquifers, such as radon and arsenic, but some were from human sources, including nitrate from fertilizer application.

The Oil companies are helping fund research into climate change. A change of heart or guilt feeling maybe?
