He's not living without money, he's living without any of his OWN money.
If he's eating food others have thrown out... it's because they were able to buy it in the first place. Nobody's building a car or train for free, so if you're using them to get around you're using something that someone is paying for; even if you're not successful enough to be the one who's writing the checks.
This guy's not a visionary he's a bum. I saw someone doing this exact same thing earlier today on the street, but I doubt anyone's written an article about him.
