Kmart gets an F from me. For starters, the purchasing process went straight to purchase without giving me the opportunity to change the mailing address after signing up.
The website has no option to cancel an order after it's placed. I called customer support, and they canceled the order for me. The next day, I got an order confirmation and then a "your item has been shipped" email. Err, wasn't it supposed to be canceled?
I called the 800 number again and an immediately angry rep told me that it is not possible, and whoever said they canceled the order was wrong because it can't be done. So, in the end, I have an order that I can't cancel, being sent to an incorrect address, and Kmart neglected to do anything to help me. If only the big "place order" button had let me review the final order info before it was placed, none of this would have happened.
The product was shipped with one strip of tape closing the box, and the box was completely opened. I'm not blaming UPS for that. As for the product (PlayStation3), it was defective and chewed up a Blu-Ray. Could this entire experience have been worse?
