I'm a big Dawkins' fan, but I feel his crusade of light of the recent years really overshadows his brilliant science writing. I acknowledge that parts the US are still living in the dark ages when faced with the question of science and religion, but as sad as this situation might be, as pressingly it has to be resolved in these renewed times of imperialist warfare, I sometimes wish he would go back writing about things I could learn from. How long will he keep on preaching to the bull heads, anyway? Somehow, I don't think that Dawkins is the man who will enlighten in this regard the Bush era. He's only polarizing the discourse between the educated and the followers. What both sides need is an educated read at christian mythology.

And, no, it's not up to Dawkins to speak out about the horrors of science academia, but take notice, attention hungry distressed scientists with good writing skills, this position remains open!

Cooperation better than greed? I think it has to do with setting up a social environment where most people do support each other and therefore optimize their chance of survival... What a concept!
