Let's share info and ideas. i am very interested in the world at large and learning each day about new things. i like writing, photography, angels and mythology, studying religions, environment, animals. i love to read. i love the arts. i hope to make new friends and share interesting sites and help to make the world a better place in which to live I am not engaged to Christianity by decent forms, or saving ordinances; it is not usage, it is not what I do not understand, that binds me to it -- let these be the sandy foundations of falsehoods. What I revere and obey in it is its reality, its boundless charity, its deep interior life, the rest it gives to my mind, the echo it returns to my thoughts, the perfect accord it makes with my reason through all its representation of God and His Providence; and the persuasion and courage that come out thence to lead me upward and onward. RALPH WALDO EMERSON, sermon, Sept. 9, 1832 DEBBIE J PACE

'That inner Self, as the primeval Spirit,
Eternal, ever effulgent, full and infinite Bliss,
    Single, indivisible, whole and living,
Shines in everyone as the witnessing awareness.
That self in its splendour, shining in the cavity of the heart
This self is neither born nor dies,
    Neither grows nor decays,
Nor does it suffer any change.
When a pot is broken, the space within it is not,
And similarly, when the body dies the Self in it remains eternal.

    Dreams

    Hold fast to dreams,
    For if dreams die,
    Life is a broken-winged bird
    That cannot fly.

    Hold fast to dreams.
    For if dreams go,
    Life is a barren field
    Covered with snow.

    No Matter What.

    Sparkling, outgoing and zesty movements
    dancing among My taste-buds
    blurred vision surrounds but,
to me, your the only around.
    Soothing, Blissful even a
    fairy-tale is quenching.
    the mire thirst I have
    Reaching to hear your voice
    pushing the farthest I can
    your the relief,
    I'm starving for you're presence
    waiting with or without choice
    YOu quench the unquenchable
    you penetrate the
    unpenatrable
    You grant me, no trouble
    always ready to take a
    risk and kiss
    .
    When wrapped up in you
    you help me know
    just what to do
    no matter what,
    I love you.

    Change

    Remember me as I was then;
Turn from me now, but always see
The laughing shadowy girl who stood
At midnight by the flowering tree,
With eyes that love had made as bright
As the trembling stars of the summer night.

Turn from me now, but always hear
The muted laughter in the dew
Of that one year of youth we had,
The only youth we ever knew --
Turn from me now, or you will see
What other years have done to me.
