The important thing is to not look at this picture as social commentary, and instead just appreciate the juxtaposition between the prince of peace and a heavy artillery sniper's rifle. Oh, who am I kidding? It couldn't be more blatant!

I agree with everything except this thought... The idea that a new religion is somehow less real because it isn't old enough doesn't really make sense to me. All religion is nothing more than the trappings of faith and spirituality, which are reinvented and rediscovered every day by every individual.

Scientology isn't a religion because it doesn't foster faith and spirituality, but rather deconstructs individuals and makes them totally dependent on Scientology. Real religion doesn't change anything - it merely recognizes what already is.

*This* is the discussion we should be having over abortion rights - not whether a woman has the right to an abortion, but how we can prevent abortions from being necessary in the first place. Muzical84, I don't know where you are getting your facts, but I find Planned Parenthood to be a fair minded organization looking to better the health and well being of women *and* potential mothers. Nothing I've ever come across has ever convinced me otherwise.

Whether you believe in a higher power or not, this video begs the audience to look for a meaning and purpose for all the suffering in our history. This means each of us working to not only better ourselves, but to push our brothers and sisters to become greater themselves. I have to wonder sometimes if God's grand 'plan' is that humanity should find its own purpose and meaning without intervention.
