because quite easily it could be said that high pitched notes may sound low to others but still be within a continuum.

the same for all the main senses. now to be sure there are similarities.

touch and taste and even smell may be closer than we imagine. spicy may simply be chemical bonds that pull at your taste buds. sugary may actually have filling-in-between effect. bitter may squeeze them.

touch is very much related to texture that is the pattern on the surface being touched.

what would be a shock is that taste and smell could actually be telling us about chemical composition. we just don't know how to read it.
