I'm a graduate candidate at the University of Southern Denmark's Center for American Studies. My main academic interests include; intellectual history, critical social theory, postmodern cultural studies, and visual semiotics, especially within the public/political theater.
I'm originally from a mid-size town (large city by Danish standards) along the Gulf Coast but have been "transatlanticized" for more than 10 years.
I hang out all over the internets and write for a few blogs. In the analogue universe I'm usually found, with son in tow, bicycling around Northeastern Fyn. For my uninitiated American friends, I don't "cycle." I just like to ride my bicycle(s) around, especially the 1954 Schwinn Corvette Cruiser. You know, like when we were kids.
Theses days, when I'm not writing my thesis or "making a living", I'm "working" our organic vegetable patch at our little kolonihave (colony garden), doing my little part to both save the planet and my sanity.
