So, I'm Part of the team of crazy people who launched Herschel, the far-infrared space telescope. We received our first science data on the 23rd of June but I can't share it with you: calibration scientists only. I'm developing calibration and trend analysis tools.

Yeah, I'm kind of geeky. When I'm not doing space research, I read and watch science-fiction or I prepare scenarios for games (computer games or tabletop role-playing-games) or go out and dance on indus or EBM. Also I garden and learn random skills (these days: talking to humans).

You should know: my favorite color is pink. I just don't wear it (I wear some purple though, I even had purple hair). Feel free to do so though. +10 for pinkness, +10 for shininess, cumulative. No reason, my brain is hardwired that way.
