Los Angeles, CA - A beautiful, young German shepherd is sitting in an over-crowded Los Angeles area animal shelter...suffering from intense pain after being struck by a car, and waiting for a miracle.

The young dog has a triple fracture in her leg. While at the shelter, she receives no treatment for her leg - just some pain medication to take the edge off. She needs surgery and surgery is expensive. Even more disheartening is the fact that she has just days until her hold time is up - then she will be euthanized.
