My name is Angela. First and foremost, I am a mother to five wonderful children. We have four boys and one girl, ages 18, 16, 13, and 6 year old twins.
We live in Highland Park, Illinois courtesy of the U.S. Navy. Being married to the military has its perks and its disadvantages, but for the most we tend to focus on the upside of military living.
My children are my life, simply stated. I do everything I can to enstill in my children the values, beliefs, and morality my parents handed down to me, sometimes feeling as though what I'm doing isn't affecting them in any way. Then I witness, out of the corner of my eye, one of them doing something kind for someone, lending a helping hand, supplying a shoulder to cry on. It's then that I realize that they truly understand and I'm thankful.
My children each have their own special needs, ranging from ADHD and Autism to rare disorders and post-kidney tranplant.
Writing is my passion and I utilize this skill as a means to inspire others.
