In today's world, technology adoption is mostly based upon user experience. What makes Gmail great? Why it moved Hotmail and Yahoo as the preferred email provider for most internet user? Because it offered user something that nobody else was offering. So much so is the user experience, that most people prefer using Gmail over their desktop clients. So far, all the prodcutivity apps have failed to provide user, an experience so immense that it would make him switch to such applications.
