I've been obsessed with beads for most of my life, starting when I inherited all of my mother's beads when she gave up embroidery and leatherwork as a hobby. Since I discovered off-loom stitching 2 years ago, I've been beading non-stop. I often wonder if friends and family are tired of getting jewelery for Christmas. Every time I learn a new stitch I go on a beading binge, coming up with as many color variations as I can. Having limited beading time after becoming a Mom won't get me down - who needs sleep when you've got beads?
