OK, now I see what all the fuss was about over what Letterman said. From what I've seen of the way Sarah Palin carries herself, the words "slutty flight attendant" never come to mind. She carries herself like a lady and though she has the goods, she rarely shows them off.
Should Letterman be fired? In my opinion no. People like him get paid to talk and sooner or later they're going to offend someone or put their foot in their mouth. I rarely watch him anymore, but this certainly isn't the first thing he's ever said that was "out of line." That goes with the job.
