Via Dolorosa is the street in Jerusalem that according to the Holy Scriptures, Jesus walked on the road to his crucifixion. This short documentary follows the journey of Spanish pilgrims who visit Jerusalem and encounter a Christ's look-alike on the 'Via Dolorosa'. They invite him to carry the cross upon his shoulders, while making pictures of his tribulation. The presence of Jesus' spiting image turns their experience from a touristic attraction into a divine intervention; emphasizing how one becomes what others believe one to be.
