I don't like apostrophes, and tend to avoid people who obsess about them! That said, I enjoyed this website. It is none judgemental in its presentation (although I suspect it was written by an person who's self esteem is based upon the fact that the one thing they understand is the use of the apostrophe).

The apostrophe is very interesting. To my mind grammar has one purpose. To make text readable. If nobody understands how the apostrophe works, then what's its point? Full stops, commas, quotes, speech marks etc...... are all very useful. If an apostrophe is misused it doesn't make the text unreadable (at least not to most clear thinking / balanced individuals).

To the people who love apostrophes, please find some other way of letting us all know how clever you are, spend a little more time with friends and family and stop shortening your lives with pointless nonsense. It is too short.

Just spent a few days in the lake district. Whilst in Ambleside i happened upon these amazing photographs in a gallery window. I almost wish i hadn't seen them because they make my pictures look cheap, rushed and rubbish.
