I am a grandmother of 3 boys aged 10,7 and 5. I have one son age 40 and they all live in Pa. I was there with them from 2000-2005 as my son had a heart-attack and his wife left him and the three boys to live with another man and have his child...I love the countryside there and truly enjoyed being the nurturer again. Now I'm back in St. Pete and focused on my own development and interests. I have a BA in psychology, and love art, biking, and nature. I am not currently working, but will go back to at least a part-time position as soon as my knee heals(I tore my ACL while climbing on a porch railing to fix a down-spout) Yes I love fixing things and old houses fascinate me...I just don't have much common sense! I am a coalminers daughter/grandaughter and am very proud of my heritage and believe the UMW proved just what can be accomplished by the working man. Today however....Well I have renewed hope and with a female as the Speaker of the House no less! I am so grateful that there will be changes with this manufactured war and a forseeable end for our troops(my son's father was in Viet Nam in 1968 and came back a 'changed man'). Needless to say, I raised my son alone and find marriage irrelevant. Relationships are what should be the focus in my opinion.
