This is an amazingly detailed and thorough survey of this well known murder case in the Uk called the A6 murder in which Hanratty, a young criminal was found to have abducted a young couple, murdered the man and raped the woman before attempting to murder her, and seriously wounding her, albeit leaving her miraculously alive. Hanratty was hanged for the murder, but many thought he was innocent, and he claimed he was throughout. Here the evidence is examined with a fine toothed comb and the author finds that the verdict was correct. Many will still disagree, but few will look at the evidence as throughly.
