One day as I sat in the beauty parlor, the woman in the next chair told me she thought I was probably part Chocktaw or Cherokee. There was something about my eyes, she explained. I am only 1/16th Indian but she was right. And I think Bill Moyers's eyes look a lot like mine. I was born in Oklahoma and in the first grade, over half of the kids were part Indian. Bill was also born in Oklahoma, in Chocktaw County, so I wonder whether he's also part Indian. Will you ask him and reply, plese? And I love his work and his show. Many thanks!
