How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun"

IF the Congress really wanted to do something about controlling the COST of health care as is supposed to be the reason for reform the most efficient thing to do would be allow people to drop their insurance coverage all together or just get catastrophic insurance. That way we get rid of the costly 3rd parties that drive up costs. I would much rather go to a doctor only when I needed to and negotiate a lower price directly with my doctor. I do firmly believe that doctors would be willing to give you a lower price if they didn't have to hire several people just to deal with insurance and they would be guaranteed to actually get the money instead of just a portion that the insurance company agrees to pay.

Instead of even considering that option the argument just seems to be about making sure everyone has health insurance. Providing health insurance for every single person cannot lower the cost of health care. If you can't see that you are being blinded by the rainbows and puppies that both sides are throwing at you.

Bottom Line...keep the government OUT of individual decisions...especially decisions regarding the most valuable thing you have..YOUR HEALTH i.e. YOUR LIFE.
