Punk Rock Mommy & Blog Archive & Dr. Dan Gottlieb...
Rated • 1 review • health, illness, chronic pain, breast cancer, self help • punkrockmommy.org
A journey of life into death. A reality check. A journey through illness, life, and now, death. This blog inspires. Teaches. Saddens. Brings joy. It is down to earth, yet broadens the mind. This particular article is by a Dr who interviewed Andrea Collins - a young woman dying of cancer - The article is on her blog where she writes about her journey - the struggles and joys of an 'average' woman, who became an inspiration, a person of change and influence - the lessons she learned, her daily life.
She has now passed away. Her blog teaches us to live in the now, to believe and love the smallest things in life, to be grateful. Not to let our circumstances dictate our lives. I can relate to this blog, because of my own incurable illness and have faced death, and still face it. I find it inspiring, and will perhaps re-continue my own health blog. Blogs of this type can give so much, for myself, my family, friends, and for many others.
We can all make a difference in our own way. This woman touched the heart's of many. You may also want to read her 'Last Blog Post' - .."if you are reading this, it means I have passed away' .... What would you write for your 'Last Blog Post'?
Be inspired, don't fret about the small things in life. Don't fear. Live now. Accept and make the most of what we have. Words just cannot portray the depth of what I feel when I read this woman's journey, knowing that she recently passed away, leaving her family behind.
Her family continues to blog, so that her memory carries on.
