Like zap4k, I got the trial and wound up buying the whole thing. I'm a casual music maker.. it's.just a hobby for me and this is perfect for my purposes. The free updates for life thing is an incredibly good deal. So good, that I question the business model, but it's great for me. There are lots of great plug-ins you can use to expand the base functionality, but there is a ton of stuff built in to get you started. Also, it's a really solid piece of software. I've never head it crash and the interface is really fun to work in and intuitive. Lastly, there's a great community on the forums that have helped me figure out things I didn't know how to do. I don't work for them either, and I honestly don't know how a professional would feel about this package, but for me it works great.

Damn these tower defense games...I'm helpless before them.

Every single person who gave this a negative review joined in for a couple seconds...they know it in their heart of hearts.

The note could read like this, and still have the same meaning: "Dear car owner: your dinosaur sticker has served its purpose to an extent beyond which you had any right to expect. Congratulations!"

This was more than worth the price of the Electronics For Dummies book, I'm sure.
