My name is Max Forlani, I'm thirty-something, was born and raised in a European country significantly smaller in size than Turkey and I'm the main author of The Forlanis. I've been living in Istanbul since 2005. The Forlanis is about our family life in Istanbul: me (Max, an expat), his wife Darria (a local), and their newborn child Pamir. However, this blog is not your typical parental blog! It also covers multi-cultural differences, (exotic) recipes, travel stories and Max's quest to create a successful blog from square one.
