My name is Max and until September of this year I lived on a Texas beach with my three cats, two dogs, friend Greg, and Art, my life partner. Then Hurricane Ike came along and our house was swept away by storm surge. So now we're living in a small community north of Houston - safe and sound, but missing life on the beach.
